We got three inches of snow and sleet/freezing rain on Friday and Friday night. Sledding Friday was on just snow was soft, sledding on ice on Saturday and Sunday was a bit riskier, but a lot of fun! I never would have thought to attempt videoing a ride from the perspective of the person ON the sled, but decided to try after seeing a clip made by a friend of mine!

The Yankees are Coming!
We are reading a book about John Adams, and it refers to him as a Yankee.
The kids acted all incredulous, and I didn't understand why.
So I told them I'm a Yankee.
And then they started screaming, and shouted, "The Yankees are coming, the Yankees are coming!"
That's what I get for letting them watch Gone with the Wind with me. (My annual tradition as I take down Christmas decorations -- four hour movie, four hour job.)
I had some explaining to do....

Winter Wonderland
Yesterday we went for a walk in the winter wonderland -- as scarce as it was. Today we tried sledding.
