Another example of D incorporating events from the news into his life:
As I was making food for breakfast at church tomorrow, D was working on a craft at the big table in the kitchen. He made a mail satchel, and went to deliver letters to Daddy and E. When he came back he apologized for not having a letter for me, and told me he delivered letters from Red Lobster to Daddy and E. (Red Lobster is the restaurant the two of them go to on special Daddy/daughter occasions, as E and I don't like the smell.) I asked what the letters said. "They said that Daddy and E are not allowed in the restaurant again because they took baths in the sink there."
Cracked me up!
